아름다운 경치로 유명한 곳이라고 하는데요.
특히 수많은 종류 의 바다거북이의 생존을 위해 특별허가된 지역이라고도 합니다.
MARAPA(NGO)는 수많은 종의 바다거북이의 불법도살을 자행하고있는 상황을 비난하고자 시각매체를 사용한 이미지들을 만들어내기로 했습니다.

환경의 날을 맞이하여 6월에 거북이보호에 관련한 전시를 진행하려 계획중이다고 합니다.
일러스트레이터, 사진작가, 그래픽디자인너들이 이 전시를 위해 시간을 내어 함께 운동에 동참하고자하는데요.

Joining the efforts of MARAPA, an NGO who helps artisanal fisheries in São Tomé, www.marapa.org create an image with a strong visual message to denounce the senseless killing of the following species of sea turtles: Green turtle - Olive ridley – Hawksbill – Leatherback - Loggerhead turtle.
Alain Corbel(illustrator&professor) asked us to create some illustration for it so we gladly participated in with this following images. We would like to share this cruel happening and hope you consider it by spreading to recognize more it.
